St. Anne’s Golf Club is an impressive and testing 18-holes links golf course (par 71) situated on Dublin’s most famous ecological attraction - Bull Island Nature Reserve in Dublin Bay. The island, a bird sanctuary under the protection of Unesco, is natural links terrain of sand and dunes. The island’s beach is over three miles long. Our impressive links includes three par fives and four par threes. There is not one ’pushover’ hole on the entire course and wind conditions can be a major factor in how the course is played.
Located in the heart of Dublin it is both a challenge and a pleasure to play, surrounded as it is by the Irish Sea on one side and the peace and tranquillity of a beautiful nature reserve on the other. Game over, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Dublin Bay from our state of the art clubhouse. There are 408 Golf clubs in Ireland, but only 53 of these are links courses. We are proud to be one of this exclusive ’club’.
In 2003 St Anne’s completed a major development of the course and clubhouse, which affords spectacular panoramic views of the bay and Wicklow Mountains beyond. Visitors are welcome all year round and will be greeted with traditional friendliness. Full restaurant facilities are available all day.
The unique setting of this famous old links with the splendid panoramic views of Howth Head and across Dublin Bay to the Wicklow mountains ensures a most relaxing and enjoyable game.
