The 18-hole Loch Lomond Golf Club (1993) is a very private club located 20 miles north west of Glasgow between the mountains and the historic lochside. The famous parkland style golf course was designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf. The challenging course offers beautifully manicured fairways and greens as well as many natural hazards such as streams and marshland areas.
Loch Lomond is long-term home to the Scottish Open. It is considered to be one of the best inland courses of the UK. It is among the "Top 100" finest golf courses in the world and in 2005 it was ranked 66th by Golf Magazine.
