Between the green hills of Monferrato, magically, a gate opens up to a beautiful long avenue shaded by horse chestnuts. Villa Carolina is situated in the middle of a centuries-old park that stretches between the towns of Capriata d'Orba and Castelletto'Orba and has preserved its romantic charm and the magical colours of its nature for over two hundred years. Villa Carolina was a wedding gift for the noble Carolina of the Marquis Albrizzi and has been a wedding place since the 19th century. Century of these as country seat selected. Founded in 1995, the golf club has had two 18-hole courses since 2015, both championship courses. The course La Marchesa was designed by Cornish & Silvia Inc. Architects USA and is located in the picturesque green forests and the lively course of the Albedosa stream. It consists of 18 holes, 6365 metres in total, par 72. The course is located in a flat area with lots of space. The 10,11,12 holes are the Amen Corner of the course, which strains the player's concentration and leaves little room for error. The Paradiso Parcour was designed by architect Graham Cooke. The first 9 holes were inaugurated in 2006 and work on the second 9 holes will be completed in 2014. This makes Villa Carolina one of the few clubs in Italy with two 18-hole championship courses for a total of 36 holes. Paradiso Parcour is very technical and requires highest precision.
