The 27 hole Golfclub Adamstal (1994) is located in the spectacular setting of Lower Austria’s Alpine foreland which provides the ideal surrounding for impressive views and also has an unmatched scenery. The course was designed by the Canadian Jeff Howes, a disciple of Jack Nicklaus, who gave Adamstal its unique design. The golfer can choose between the 18 hole championship course or the 9 hole course “Wallerbach“. Each of the 27 holes has its distinct character with streams, slopes, clearings and rock formations. Austrias Alpine foreland is rich in diversity and was completely integrated into the courses design. It reflects directly into the rhythm of the fairways and greens.
The “Championship-Course” of Golfclub Adamstal is a real challenge and from the farthest tees it was even a match for the pros of the “European Golf Challenge Tour” who visited Adamstal multiple times. With up to 5 different tees even beginners can leisurely play on the “Championship-Course” and have a fair chance against better players.
Golfclub Adamstal is a member of the “Leading Golf Courses Austria” and has been honoured four times as “Austrias Golf course of the year”.
