The 27-hole Golf Club Schloss Maxlrain (1988) is located south of Munich close to Rosenheim in the beautiful pre-alpine landscape. Enjoy the 18-hole championship course which runs partly through the castle park, which was designed in the style of English architecture of the 19th century. The golf course is considered one of the most beautiful and most interesting golf courses in Germany.
The Golf Club Schloss Maxlrain is member of the Leading Golf Courses of Germany. It was elected several times among the top 4 of the most popular golf courses in Germany by the readers of GolfJorunal.
The centerpiece of the golf facility is the challenging 18-hole championship course. Huge firs and pines line the fairways. In addition dozens of more than 200-year-old oaks, splendid heirlooms of the former palace grounds, affect the tactics of the game. Through its many ponds, watercourses and habitats Schloss Maxlrain represents a natural paradise.
The 9-hole short course offers beginners the chances of learning golf while the experienced golfer might practice his short game.
