The 18-hole Golf Club Freudenstadt was initially founded in 1929 as a 7-hole golf course. It is one of the oldest and most traditional golf clubs in Germany. The enlargement to 18 holes followed in 1992. The challenging parkland style golf course is characterized by attractive water hazards and well-kept greens situated in the beautiful slightly rolling landscape of the Black Forest. A special highlight for each player is the 11th hole with a great tee shot into a valley with a narrow landing zone that is bounded by forest and by a stream. In the clubhouse you will find a very good restaurant with daily changing menu and a fine selection of national and international wines.
