The 18-hole Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof at Pulheim close to Cologne is one of the most attractive and interesting golf layouts in Germany. The signature Stadium Course is shaped by the guiding philosophy of its architect Jack Nicklaus: "A good shot should not be punished." Consequently, it is challenging and diverse, but always fair - rewarding players who use intelligence and precision rather than strength alone. The Stadium Course is fulfilling all the criteria of a top, world class golf design.
Up until now, Gut Lärchenhof remains the only course in Germany designed by Jack Nicklaus. The fairways were individually modelled. All drive zones are designed to be visible from the tee. The hilly green landscape asks for a precise short game. All greens were constructed according to USGA specifications and to meet the highest European standards. Over all the degree of difficulty was planned so that the final parts of both the first nine and the back nine holes feature the most challenges.
Golf Club Gut Laerchenhof hosted the BMW International Open 2012/2014/2016, the Mercedes-Benz Championship 2007-2009 and the Linde German Masters 1998-2005.
