The 36-hole Ballyliffin Golf Club (1948) consists of two outstanding and contrasting links courses designed by Nick Faldo and Pat Ruddy. The Ballyliffin Golf Club is Ireland's most northerly golf club in a spectacular setting with panoramic views of countryside, coastline and ocean and an outstanding presentation standards all year round.
The Old Links undulates in the glory of its natural terrain, presenting an immensely enjoyable challenge to every golfer. Work recently undertaken by Nick Faldo has strenghtened The Old Links and brought much acclaim from members and visitors.
The 18-holes of the new Glashedy Links (1995) is a Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock masterpiece. The layout is intertwined with the Old course winding their way through the incredible dunes. The challenging golf course offers long holes, huge greens protected by bunkers and with some frightening undulations.
The Glashedy Links has hosted the Irish Inter-provincial Championships in 2006, the European Tour, North West of Ireland Open in 2002 and the Ladies European Tour, Ladies Irish Open in 1998.The Old Links hosted the European Seniors Tour in June 2008- The Irish Seniors Open.
