In breathtaking Zugertal, 1,500 metres above sea level, you will find the Lech Golf Course, the highest golf course in Austria. On what is probably the only level area of land in the whole Arlberg region, the brand new 9-hole Lech course nestles in the high Alpine mountain countryside as if it had always been there, promising top-quality golfing pleasure for both new recruits and old veterans alike.
The nine holes are situated on both sides of the Lech river in idyllic Zugertal not far from Lech. Nature herself determined the lie of the holes. The Arlberg and in particular Zugertal have been spared from any drastic tourist cosmetic treatment. It is unadulterated, unique and exceedingly charismatic. And what’s true of the countryside up here is also true of the golf course.
Being located in the centre of the most exclusive holiday region in Austria, with all the benefits this entails, brings together a complete package for our members and guests which sets new standards in comfort, enjoyment and lifestyle.
Berghof practice facility: For getting your licence or practising your short game Berghof, in the village of Lech, offers a driving range with 9 tees, a putting green and a chipping and pitching area with bunkers. The centrepiece consists of the three holes with three tees and corresponding flag positions each. This gives you the option of playing nine different holes.
