The 36-hole Bro Hof Slott is located north of Stockholm close to the mountains. In just a few years Bro Hof Slott GC has built a reputation as one of the best golf courses in the world. On reputable Golf Worlds ranking list over the world’s top 100 golf courses in 2012, Bro Hof Slott´s The Stadium Course is on a sensational 54th place.
The Stadium Course (2007) is a “lakeside course” and an amazing golfing experience for any category of golfer. It is located on the spectacular castle grounds on Lake Mälaren. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and varies considerably depending on how you choose to play. From the yellow and red tees, the course is pleasant and light-hearted. From the white tee, difficult and challenging. And a tee-off from the black tee will give even pros a real challenge. The Stadium Course hosts the Nordea Masters yearly.
The Castle Course was also designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. It has a Scottish links character, with small and challenging bunkers. The course feels shorter and slightly hillier than The Stadium Course, with narrower fairways. It offers an excellent challenge to golfers of all levels and styles.
Bro Hof Slott, The Stadium Course, is now ranked as the second best course in Europe – outside Great Britain. That means Bro Hof Slott GC has a higher ranking than PGA de Catalunya and Valderrama – the two best courses in Spain.
