The 18-hole golf course Château de Chailly (opened in 1990) is part of the Golf Resort 'Château de Chailly'. The course is considered one of the most beautiful golf courses in Burgundy, designed by renowned golf course architects Thierry Sprecher and Géry Watine. The 27-hole Golf Course Château des Vigiers located near Bergerac within the famous region of Dordogne was designed by Donald Steel, considered to be one of the very best “natural” golf course architects. It was founded by the Grand Duke Michael of Russia, designed by Harry Colt and visited by all the royalties and celebrities of Europe. In the beginning it was a 9-hole course called the “Grand Duke”.
